Carlson Survey 2007
is Carlson's most productive and
intuitive AutoCAD-based survey solution
yet.
Even better, Carlson Survey is now
available in two forms: Inside AutoCAD®
or AutoCAD® Inside. And the standalone
Carlson Survey now matches all major
features of the inside AutoCAD® version.
Both include SurvNET Network Least
Squares, now essential for survey
adjustment.

Surveyors will use the point-based CAD/COGO
commands extensively, since it has more
of them than any other product available
today. Add the one-step contouring,
volume calculation and construction
stakeout features built into this
innovative product, and surveyors can do
all their mapping and construction
stakeout -- from start to finish --
without having to resort to using any
other software. For a quick movie
sample, click Edit-Process Raw
Data File, or the image below.

Also included are
hundreds of enhancements to basic
AutoCAD®
commands. Note that Carlson Survey 2007
for AutoCAD®
can be purchased individually or, for
even greater savings, as part of the
Carlson Civil Suite 2007,
Carlson Survey 2007 for AutoCAD runs
atop AutoCAD versions 2000-2007.

System
Requirements (Standalone)
|
|
|
|
|
The recommended system requirements for
Carlson Survey 2007 Standalone are the
same as those of AutoCAD 2007.
System requirements
for AutoCAD 2007 for users who are
focusing on 2D drawing creation are as
follows:
- Intel® Pentium®
IV processor recommended
- Microsoft®
Windows® XP Professional or Home
Edition (SP1 or SP2), Windows XP
Tablet PC Edition (SP2), or Windows
2000 (SP3 or SP4)
- 512 MB RAM
- 750 MB free disk
space for installation
- 1024x768 VGA
display with true color
- Microsoft®
Internet Explorer 6.0 (SP1 or
higher)
System requirements
for AutoCAD 2007 for users who are
taking advantage of the new conceptual
design capabilities are as follows:
- Intel® processor
3.0 GHz or greater
- Windows XP
Professional (SP2)
- 2 GB RAM or
greater
- 2 GB of disk
space available, not including
installation
- 1280x1024 32-bit
color video display adapter (true
color)
- 128 MB or
greater, OpenGL®-capable workstation
class graphics card.
Less capable machines
(such as Pentium 233) can run Carlson
Survey 2007, but the results may be less
than ideal. Sufficient swap space is
also required to handle the installation
of Carlson Survey 2007 as well as any
data or drawing files saved. The use of
additional memory or faster processors
will directly improve performance and
capacity.
No Longer Officially Supported:
Microsoft Windows 3.x or earlier, 95 and
98.
